No. Linearity runs in the browser at cloud.linearity.io. Sign in with your account and start designing. Curve and Move are separate apps, and only if you want them.
Different jobs, and plenty of people use both. The web app turns a prompt into a full set of on-brand campaign assets. Curve and Move are where you work by hand: drawing paths, tuning type, dialling in keyframes.
Yes, in the browser. The web app runs on Windows, Linux, ChromeOS, and Mac, with nothing to install. The native apps are Apple only: Curve runs on Mac, iPad, and iPhone, and Move on Mac and iPad.
Yes. The free plan comes with 50 lifetime credits, so you can see what one prompt does before paying anything. Curve and Move are free to download.
Same app either way. The direct download gives you the .dmg to install yourself, which is the quickest route on a Mac. The App Store version handles installation, updates, and billing through your Apple account, and it is the only option on iPad.
