Images

You can add and import images directly into Linearity Curve (formerly Vectornator) document in several ways.

Add images with one click

To import an image, open the Library Popover (1) ic-library-tab icon by using the icon to the far right in the Inspector Bar and then navigate to the Photos (A) or the Unsplash (B) Tab.

add image options

Note:

You can import the following image formats into Curve: .jpeg, .png, .tiff, webp, .pdf, .svg, .sketch, and .ai.

Import images

You can import images directly onto your canvas with drag and drop.

Choose the image you want to import from any folder on your Mac, and then drag it to Linearity Curve.

If you have a document already open, the image will appear automatically on the canvas. Otherwise, a new document will be created using the image size selected.

Now you can start to make adjustments to your imported image.

Image import via Menu Bar

Another option to import an image is to use the Menu Bar. Go to File, or press CMD + I, and the Home Screen opens automatically. Then click on the images tab in the Homescreen sidebar and select your file. You can also import your Figma files and the images on your Photos App here.

Linearity Curve will import all the Frames as separated Artboards, making it easier to edit your documents offline.

Importing images from Unsplash

To import images to your document directly from Unsplash, open the Library Tab ic-library-tab icon and then the Unsplash Tab ic-unsplash-tab icon by clicking on the icon at the bottom. Then, type a keyword into the Search Bar (1) at the top of the Library Tab.

Press Enter to show the results once you type your keyword in the Search Bar. Then, you can scroll down through your search results and click on an image to import it onto your Artboard immediately, or you can drag and drop an image onto a specific position on your canvas.
