Interface

Library

The Library is the sidebar on the left side of your interface in Linearity Move. Here you can easily create animations from dynamic preset options, save and use assets for use in all your projects, and easily access photos from your device photo library.

The Library has three separate tabs: Presets, Assets, and Photos.

Presets

The Presets tab is only accessible in the Scene view. Here, you can access a wide variety of pre-programmed animations that you can add to your elements. Just select an element on your canvas and click a preset to add that animation to that element. Then you can edit and refine that animation until it’s perfect.

Assets

The Assets tab is the only Library tab accessible in the Project view, but it’s also accessible in the Scene view. Using the Assets Tab in your workflow can simplify your tasks and save you time.

Here, you can save elements from your canvas for future use, as assets. Your asset library remains saved across all your projects. This saves you from having to copy and paste elements that you use often, such as logos.

In the Project view, you can drag and drop saved assets into the timeline to create a new scene based on that asset.

In the Scene view, you can store new assets that you’ve created, or use your stored assets from Linearity Curve or previous Move files. Just drag and drop the asset you want to use onto your canvas.

Photos

The Photos tab is only accessible in the Scene view. If you enable the permissions, you’ll be able to access your device photo library here through Linearity Move. This will let you drag and drop your photos into your project instead of having to import them individually.
