Linearity for Shipaton Builders

Welcome, Shipaton builders! We're glad to have you here. This guide walks you through everything you need to turn your app launch into a full set of polished, on-brand visuals with no design team required.

Linearity, in short

Linearity is an AI-native creative platform that generates editable marketing designs. One prompt gives you on-brand app store graphics, promo visuals and social assets you can actually edit: text, layout, color, vectors, all of it. Resize, tweak and reuse for every channel.

Three parts working together:

Linearity AI. The generation engine. Describe what you need in plain language and it builds a first draft using your brand's logo, colors, fonts, and templates. Trained specifically for producing marketing and app-launch visuals.

Linearity Curve. The vector editor. Once something's generated, Curve is where you take it apart and rebuild it: move objects, edit text, swap colors, adjust shapes, replace logos. Every generated asset is a real, editable Curve file.

Linearity Move. The motion tool. Turn a static asset into a short animation or video-ready graphic — useful for launch teasers, animated social posts, or App Store preview videos.

Two ways to use Linearity:

Web. Generate assets straight from your brand guide, right in the browser. No install, no setup. Best for quick generation on the go or if you're not on a Mac.

Mac app (.dmg). Everything in web, plus full editing. Once you've downloaded the Mac app, every asset you generate can be opened, edited, and animated without leaving Linearity. Recommended if you plan to fine-tune your launch assets rather than use them as-is.

Prompt your first asset

1. Add your brand. Connect your website. Linearity pulls your logo, colors and type automatically.

2. Create a new document. Size doesn't matter, you'll prompt it from here anyway.

3. Press the intelligence tool in the left toolbar.

4. A prompt field appears at the bottom of the screen. Type in what you'd like to design.

5. Click Generate. This can take up to 10 minutes. If Linearity AI is unsure what you mean, it'll ask you clarifying questions before generating.

Adding your app screenshot to a design

You can drop your own app screenshot straight into a generation. Linearity will build the design around it.

1. Start a new prompt as usual.

2. Attach your app screenshot to the prompt (use the attachment button).

3. Describe what you want built around it, e.g. "put this screenshot in a phone frame, add a headline announcing our launch, use [Brand] colors."

4. Generate. Linearity places your screenshot into the design and builds the rest around it.

5. Switch to the Mac app to fine-tune positioning, swap the frame, or adjust text once it's generated.

UI a

Tips and tricks

• Mention the brand you're designing for in the prompt. Linearity will pull in your connected brand assets automatically.

• No need to write an essay. Linearity's AI is trained for marketing visuals. Short, direct prompts work great. But if you have something specific in mind, go ahead and spell it out.

• Not happy with a result? Regenerate or tweak instead of starting over, that's the whole point.
