Metallic colors

Metallics are a simulation: gold, silver and bronze are flat hex values standing in for a reflective surface. On screen they only read as metal with a gradient or a highlight, so treat the hex as a starting point rather than the finished effect. In print they are a genuinely different process — a spot metallic ink, not a CMYK mix.
