Yellow colors

Yellow is the hardest family to use well because it is the brightest hue at full saturation and almost never passes contrast against white. Treat it as a background or an accent shape rather than text. Its range is wide: pale butter reads soft and editorial, gold reads premium, and mustard reads retro and warm without the glare.
